Gryos!

What is going on people!? I hope 2022 is just treating you amazing!

I've had such an amazing week! I am now in Chico, California! it is a college town and it is lots more exciting then Yuba City! I've been having such a fun time with my prankster companion Elder Cabazos. 

My first day in Chico was quit interesting lol. Elder Mccabe, Elder Jensen and I were in the car, they were the ones that picked me up because there wasn't gonna be enough room for him in the car because of my luggage.  But anyways, to get to the point of the story. We were like... "We are starving" and I'm looking on restuarants near by and there is this place that looks just delicous called, Hefty Gryos. Everyone was just like, "That sounds amazing! Lets go there." So, we are driving over there and about 5 more minutes left to drive we come across this gate and it has 2 guys in full on army uniforms and we are just like, this place is inside the army base, so we talked to the army guys and they said that we couldn't go in! I guess people try to drive to the gryos place all the time but they can't get in! Hahaha. BRUH moment. But then I was like... "Let's just go to this mexican restuarant" and the other elders were just like.. "Why not?" We drive over there, we park and we look across the street and what do we find??? The same gryo restuarnt but in a FOOD TRUCK!!! We were like, Whaaaaaaattttt Theeeee??!!! The food was amazing and we just devoured our food because we were some hungryyy boiiisss. 

After the whole gryo situation I get to the apartment and HOLY COW!!! The apartment was disgusting! Like what the flippen BRUH! So I said,  "You guys need to help me clean this place up!!" because it was nasty!  So we did and it looks spectacular because of... who? wait what was that? one more time? BECASEU OF ME! I'm the mom of the apartment and Elder Jensen gave me the roomate of the year award. I get a gold star now and a dance party. OHHHH YAAAA!

AND GUESS WHAT?! WE HAVE A BAPTISM THIS SATURDAY! Bennet is gonna get baptized and he is so ready and it is so amazing to see someone having the desire to be baptized. It makes me so happy. Never felt so much joy!

I am so excited to see what else the Lord has in store for me this transer in Chico! The Lord has a plan, and it's a great plan, whatever happens to you, the Lord will always have someone amazing later down the road because he can do all things!
