The Grind Is For Real

Como Han estado? I hope everyone has been fantastic and just reading the scriptures and praying everyday, you already know the drill. My 5th transfer is over! It was such a quick transfer here in Columbia, I'm staying with my companion elder stewart again which is dope because we are doing good, we have much work to do. So many latinos to be found, so much knocking to be had, not enough time to do it all. We definitely struggled to find people this transfer and to get them to church. But we have a lot of hope and motivation to keep on going and find those elect people. Honestly that's just what happens in life sometimes, we just gotta be patient with our struggles and choose to trust in the lord's timing. If you have anything in your life that is sucky right now, just know god loves you, he wants the best for you and he gives you these sorts of things to grow and trust him.  Anyways we found this super dope guy named Nick the other day! He is from the Dominican Republic, an...

Oh yo yo yo! What's good my fellow friends? What a great 2 weeks in Berri, Australia! Since we talked last we have 2 more friends on date for baptism, Nathan and Tamika. Nathan is getting baptized on April 1st! How exciting! He asked me to baptize him, which is awesome because I've never been able to do that on my mission. Nathan is awesome and I believe he will definitely stay active after baptism. He does all the right things. He reads the Book of Mormon, prays, comes to church, and keeps his commitments. He has some word of wisdom issues to over come but the Lord will provide him some strength to overcome it by April 1st. We brought a member with us that is currently returning back to church, to the lesson. He was a little nervous but he was able to relate to Nathan a lot and help him with his struggles and I think they will for sure be good friends. It was a lot of work to get him there, we had to drop by the members home and walk with him to the appointment because he doe...

G-Day!  Two cowboys were lost in the desert and were starving and hungry. Finally, they see a tree in the distance draped with bacon. "Look!" Says one cowboy, "it's a bacon tree, we're saved!". He runs to the tree but is suddenly shot down in a hail of bullets. Within his last dying breath he says, "it's not a bacon tree, it's a ham bush". ....and of course they weren't saved because it wasn't Jesus Christ.  Acts 4:12 " Neither is there  salvation  in any other: for there is none other  name  under heaven given among men, whereby we must be  saved ." It was transfers! I got transferred to Berri again. I was there for a few days when I first entered Australia, but immediately ETd to Playford.  It's good to be back and it's a great area with lots of people to teach which is surprising because of how small it is. Berri is in the bush and has very few active members.  I am part of a small branch of 16 Saints here.  We ...
