The Sleepless Night

Hey Lads! This last week was pretty awesome and interesting but some good stuff happended! Kon Kon is on trial right now and he has gone through it successfully and he is gonna be able to get baptized here pretty soon! It has been hard to meet with him lately so we have to push the date out a bit, but that's totally ok! We got to go to the Adelaide temple! It was super awesome! I got to catch up with some friends and feel the spirit strongly! The temple is so great, if you haven't made it to the temple yet, or lately, I suggest you get there soon! It is truly doing the Lord's work and helping all those other people on the other side of the veil!  This week we did an exchange with the Port Pirie Elders! It was very interesting...  Elder Davey and I were together in our area and Elder McBride went up to Port Pirie with Elder Ta'ala. Late at night, about 10 o'clock at night, the Elders said, "Hey guys, can we get president's number? Somone is outside slamming ...

Pchshhhhhhhh Houston We Have A Problem, The Engine Is To Loud

Hello hello! This week has been all good things Lads! Highlights of the week: -Trade-offs with the Jet Engine  -Port Pirie  -Konkon came to church! You're probably wondering what trade-offs with the Jet Engine" means Back story behind the name... The Companionship Elder Brown and Elder Montmeny had a district council with the district leader Elder Ta'ala. It was the first one of the transfer, so it was a more of a "get to know you" type deal. You had to give your companion a WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) fight name   A little thing about Elder Brown... this guy flippen snores louder than my own dad! (Sorry Dad)  If you've ever been camping or seen him fall asleep and heard my dad snore... Uh ya Buddy! Pretty flippen loud! Anyways, back to Elder Brown. It was Elder Montmeny's turn to give him the WWE fighter name and Elder Montmeny says, "Since Elder Brown snores so loud, I name you the "Jet Engine"!" So, ever since that it's ...

Someone Bout To Be Dunked

Hey Lads!  It has been quite a successful week! It's crazy how much the Lord blesses you when you are commited to His gospel with a humble heart. We have found 4 new people to teach this week!  We have had very little time to work this week because we had to do a mail run, attend zone conference, district council and Mission Leadership Council! Each day we had something! But, because my companion and I both want to do our best work with the Lords time, we have been blessed! We don't know too much about the people we have found, other than they are interested in learning more after sharing simple truths about the gospel. Fingers crossed! We also have put KonKon on date to be baptized Aug 10th! Boom!  He's the friend from Africa I told you about last week that we played basketball with. Kon Kon really wants to learn more and change his life, he is commited. He struggled with drugs and is on parol and house arrest, but the Lord does provide miracles. We are praying everyday ...

Hello Everyone!  Another great week here in Aussie! It has been quite busy. This last week was quite interesting, I got really sick. I don't know what it was, but it basically just took all the energy out of me, LOL. It took a whole day to rest ,and then I felt a lot better. We were doing splits with another companionship as Zone leaders that day, so my new companion had to sit while I rested all day.  I felt badly about that. But, we were still able to get back to work the next day and get some things done. We are opening an area so we have been doing quite a bit of finding because we don't have that many teaching appointments. I have faith that we will get there in 2 weeks, easy. Now being a Zone Leader, I've noticed how much I need to always need to be on top of things because I get to be an example for the missionaries in my zone. It has been hard, but that's good, it is making me grow. I have a companion that works really hard, which is good and how I like it, so w...
