Hey everyone! What is up my peeps! This week was not so eventful so it's not going to be a very exciting email.  I made a service post on facebook on a Chico, California group asking if anyone wanted any service done for them. And this lady responded! We got 4 other elders to help grab all of these broken cannopies that she had from her outdoor day care and put them in the back of the Paradise elders truck and hauled it all to the dump. It was a really quick service but she really appreciated it. She gave us money for the dump that costed 10$ and snuck in another 60$! We were like what theeee!? So, we went and got some lunch at this pizza place and it was pretty good pizza but not worth the price we paid but what can I say its flippen california everything is flippen expensive. But later she left another comment on the post I made saying how thankful she was for us and that other people should contact us! It was a great experience! Hey everyone! I hope everyone has had a great week, because I have! (sorry I'm sending this out a little late, got a little distracted) This week Bennett had his baptism! Bennett is an amazing man. He has never been happier. He is a true growing disciple of Jesus Christ. The spirit is so strong during a baptism. The feeling of the spirit is a testifier to me that this gospel is true and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet. We are going to help Bennett get all ready to get a temple date to do some baptisms and do some family history. I am so excited to see him learn and grow! Now something to share a little more on the fun side haha, so me and Elder Cabazos went to a members house.  It ends up they have a little tradition that whenever there is a new Elder in the ward, and they come over for dinner, they have to sing for the family!!!.. and if anyone has heard me sing I am TERRIBLE! What is going on people!? I hope 2022 is just treating you amazing! I've had such an amazing week! I am now in Chico, California! it is a college town and it is lots more exciting then Yuba City! I've been having such a fun time with my prankster companion Elder Cabazos.  My first day in Chico was quit interesting lol. Elder Mccabe, Elder Jensen and I were in the car, they were the ones that picked me up because there wasn't gonna be enough room for him in the car because of my luggage.  But anyways, to get to the point of the story. We were like... "We are starving" and I'm looking on restuarants near by and there is this place that looks just delicous called, Hefty Gryos. Everyone was just like, "That sounds amazing! Lets go there." So, we are driving over there and about 5 more minutes left to drive we come across this gate and it has 2 guys in full on army uniforms and we are just like, this place is inside the army base, so we talked to the army...

Sayyyyyy whaaaatttt? It's already 2022! Man that flew by!  I hope everyone is having a great new years! Hopefully you got all those new years resolutions figured out! It was transfers this week and I found out I'm leaving my current area in Yuba City. I am now going to Chico, it's a college town!  I'm excited and not excited at the same time. I really like my current companion and I love the area I'm in, but I've heard lots of good things about Chico and my new companion, Elder Cabazos.  I hear that he's a big of prankster, so that should be fun!  I had lots of fun this week. On New Years eve we hung out over at the other Elders apartment and made banana pancakes and played lots of games until bed time. It was a good time.
