I Cannot Sing

Hey everyone! I hope everyone has had a great week, because I have! (sorry I'm sending this out a little late, got a little distracted)

This week Bennett had his baptism! Bennett is an amazing man. He has never been happier. He is a true growing disciple of Jesus Christ. The spirit is so strong during a baptism. The feeling of the spirit is a testifier to me that this gospel is true and that Joseph Smith is a true prophet. We are going to help Bennett get all ready to get a temple date to do some baptisms and do some family history. I am so excited to see him learn and grow!

Now something to share a little more on the fun side haha, so me and Elder Cabazos went to a members house.  It ends up they have a little tradition that whenever there is a new Elder in the ward, and they come over for dinner, they have to sing for the family!!!.. and if anyone has heard me sing I am TERRIBLE! It was fun and emabarrassing!!! But anyways I had to get up on there balcony and sing to their massive family. Good thing they made some good beans and rice or I would've had to get revenge on the Matterns. 

We got in contact with this lady named Balinda and finally got to "teach" her something. But let's just say she had some crazy weird concerns and that she thought Polygamy was good and said, " ya know, I'm alright with polygamy, I think that's something I want to try." and we were like, Uhhhhhhhhh, well actually that is not ok. HAHA
