Share What You Learn
Hey guys! Another week has past, that went by really quick! Time flies by on the mission. We had a really successful week!
We found a family that wants to be baptized! Some of the kids aren't old enough, but the 2 oldest and the Mom are ready! They have a desire to go to church and want to come, I really hope they will be able to make it this week so they can see the true blessings from attending church.
Nothing funny happened this week but a lot of good spiritual thoughts to share!
My district leader, also my companion, Elder McCabe, does this thing at the beggining of every transfer. He has everyone in the district work on a Chirst-like attribute. Last transfer I chose to work on knowledge, because I'm pretty new to the mission and I wanted to feel comfortalble with the knowledge that I have while I go out and teach. A really cool insight that I learned was, if you read the Book of Mormon, Bible, conference talk, etc. and you learn something meaningful and something you take to heart that you really believe in and you don't share what you learn, then what is the point of receving that knowledge if you aren't willing to share that message that everyone needs to hear? The word of God is for everyone, so you should share it with everyone. So I invite all of you guys to share what you learn with someone that needs your message.
I love all of you guys! Have an amazing week!
-Elder Bishop
