The Animal Whisperer

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great conference weekend!

This week I have gotten a new companion, Elder Strauss, "The Animal Whisperer". I have never met someone that loves animals as much as he does, this guy can just speak to them almost. He has many many funny stories about him and animals. Some interesting things he has told me was he has tackled and caught 9 Peacocks on the mission, bruh. And a long time ago, it was towards the beginning of his mission and he caught a peacock and put it in this elders apartment! I have a couple videos that I can share. He is quite the prankster but he is a great missionary as well. I love Elder Strauss he is a beast and just the weirdest goofiest guy ever, love him to death. 

We had a very successful week! We have found 3 new people to teach! We are now teaching 14 people! We are very busy but I love it, time goes by really quick and the lord blesses you so much! Hard work brings many Miracles! Alma 26:22 ... " Yea, he that repenteth and exerciseth faith, and bringeth forth good works, and prayeth continually without ceasing—unto such it is given to know the mysteries of God; yea, unto such it shall be given to reveal things which never have been revealed; yea, and it shall be given unto such to bring thousands of souls to repentance, even as it has been given unto us to bring these our brethren to repentance."

This scripture right here outlines everything that you need to do to receive miracles or "the mysteries of God". I have followed these steps and have applied it into my missionary work and I have a strong testimony of it. The lord provides when you have faith and a strong desire and loving heart to do his work, He will bless you and bring those miracles your way.

Something funny that happened was an elder in our zone was sitting on the toilet and all the sudden the back of the toilet just shattered! We now call him "Elder toilet tyrant".
