Miracles, Miracles, Miracles

Wassuuuuupppp! I hope everyone had a great week! We had a pretty awesome week.

Earlier in the week we got a refferal from a member to knock this guys house in her neighborhood.  Someone answered the door and it wasn't the person we were looking for. But, the woman that answered was just straight up bashing us and she did not like what we had to say. The greatest part about it was, everytime she asked a question the spirit was SO STRONG! I have never testitfied so strong in my life. My body was filled with this overwhelming feeling. My legs were even wobbling. This experience is like the promise in D&C 100:5-8:

5 Therefore, verily I say unto you, lift up your voices unto this people; speak the thoughts that I shall put into your hearts, and you shall not be confounded before men;

6 For it shall be given you in the very hour, yea, in the very moment, what ye shall say.

7 But a commandment I give unto you, that ye shall declare whatsoever thing ye declare in my name, in solemnity of heart, in the spirit of meekness, in all things.

8 And I give unto you this promise, that inasmuch as ye do this the Holy Ghost shall be shed forth in bearing record unto all things whatsoever ye shall say.

This experience that I had testifies of this scripture. In the "very moment" I knew what to say, the Holy Ghost bore record of everything I said.  Guys, I could never in my life tell anyone that God isn't real! I couldn't! The experiences I have had, the excitment, the joy, everything I have been blessed with, I will always believe that God is there!

Right after this bashing experience, we went to go fill up on gas at the 7-11. We went inside the gas station and the guy giving us our receipt said, "I want to join your church" I was like, sayyyyy lessssss, This guy is so prepared to recieve the gospel. He has to work long shifts everyday at the 7-11, so we went back on Mother's Day to teach him in the 7-11 break room.

It's so insane all the miracels you see when you truly follow in Christ's footsteps. I am no where near perfect, but I'm striving to be. I'm putting in the effort to become like Jesus Christ, and all you guys can do the same! Striving to be like Jesus Christ will bless your life so much to where you won't even believe it. I challenge all of you to follow Christ's example and just pick one thing this week to work on to become like Him. You will see miracles, I know you will.
I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen!

Love,
Elder Bishop
