Hey Dudes!

I only have 7 days till I leave for Aussie and I'm super pumped!! My suitcase is mostly packed and I've been wearing the same 3 ties for awhile so I dont' have to unpack anything else.  Lol

This week kinda sucked, not gonna lie.

Our car had to go in for repair and we don't have bikes so we are on foot and our area is massive. So the work has been a little challenging. Half of our lessons fell through as well. Big sad.

But, on the good side, we had one really good lesson. We are teaching this lady named Yvonne and we taught her about the word of wisdom and she loved it! She drinks coffee, wine, and smokes and she said it answered a lot of her questions and is getting herself ready to follow it and be ready to change! We are really excited for her and her journey following Jesus Christ!

One more thing, Elder Strauss and I were called to be the hype men for our zone group chat, we hype everyone up! To do this, we send in motivational videos, funny pics and we send screaming voice recordings whenever people find a new person to teach, kinda fun!  

That's all that really happened. Sorry for a boring letter, better one next week! 

On my next P-day I will be in Roseville with the APs and they will take me to the mission home to get a few things and then they will drop me and 3 other elders off at the airport. I have known about these other Aussie called elders since I arrived, but we have never served together, or met, so I'm excited to finally meet them.  We fly out next Monday night to head to Australia.  It will be Monday evening when we leave and it will be Wednesday afternoon when we land. Sheesh!  That's going to be a looooooong flight!  Australia is 16.5 hrs ahead of California time. There will be 3 legs of the flight, Sacramento to Los Angeles, Los Angeles to Sydney, then Syndney to Adelaide. Then, I'll head to the mission home in Adelaide to meet my new mission president.  I'm flying out with 16 other missionaries I believe, so it will be great to meet so many new friends as we travel together. If I keep my promise to my mom, I'll take lots of pictures of my travels and I'll be able to share them in my next letter.
