Someone Bout To Be Dunked

Hey Lads!
It has been quite a successful week! It's crazy how much the Lord blesses you when you are commited to His gospel with a humble heart.

We have found 4 new people to teach this week!  We have had very little time to work this week because we had to do a mail run, attend zone conference, district council and Mission Leadership Council! Each day we had something! But, because my companion and I both want to do our best work with the Lords time, we have been blessed! We don't know too much about the people we have found, other than they are interested in learning more after sharing simple truths about the gospel. Fingers crossed!

We also have put KonKon on date to be baptized Aug 10th! Boom!  He's the friend from Africa I told you about last week that we played basketball with. Kon Kon really wants to learn more and change his life, he is commited. He struggled with drugs and is on parol and house arrest, but the Lord does provide miracles. We are praying everyday for KonKon and for a miracle to come! I have faith that the Lord will provide because Moroni 7:37 says...
37 Behold I say unto you, Nay; for it is by faith that miracles are wrought; and it is by faith that angels appear and minister unto men; wherefore, if these things have ceased wo be unto the children of men, for it is because of unbelief, and all is vain

The Lord will provide!

I have felt prompted to share this scripture with you guys.

1Nephi 8:26-27
26 And I also cast my eyes round about, and beheld, on the other side of the river of water, a great and spacious building; and it stood as it were in the air, high above the earth.
27 And it was filled with people, both old and young, both male and female; and their manner of dress was exceedingly fine; and they were in the attitude of mocking and pointing their fingers towards those who had come at and were partaking of the fruit

As I was reading this I thought to my self how many people today act like this. They think they are so cool and awesome with all their money or with all the fun they are having, but they don't realize what the gospel of Jesus Christ provides. I have learned that living the gospel just takes effort, that's it! It's not hard. So many people are living it today and have so much hope and joy because of what Jesus Christ has instore for them. Just because you're well off or you're content with what you have, doesn't mean you can't change or don't need anything else. There is always room for more blessings. There is always time for Jesus Christ. There is always time and room for a Savior who loved and cared about you and wants the best for you and provides you eternal life as long as you are faithful.

Love all of you and I hope you guys had a great 4th of July! I didn't lol
