A Few Gags And Popped Tires

Monday- P-day: 

We played some more games with the Elders and that's basically all we did because the sisters are lame and didn't even come to the chapel. I also bought a pair of shoes because I've already worn out the insoles to both pairs and I hated all the insoles I bought, so I just got a new pair of shoes, haha. Pics attached.  This is the style of the Aussies.  I thought I'd try them out. 

Tuesday:

Pretty normal day, except I was fetching tired for some reason and we were out door knocking. I had a caffeine tablet that you dissolve in water, but we didn't have water so I stuck it straight into my mouth and it tasted absolutely disgusting!  I was gaging, but still dissolving this tablet in my mouth, so I was slowly getting it down, haha! Then I noticed that Elder Montmeny had a little bit of water left over in his water bottle so I put some water in my mouth to help with the taste and getting it down but it just made it worse because as it was dissolving in the water it was bubbling so I ended up having to open my mouth a bit just having bubbles come out of my mouth! Then I started gaging again but I couldn't keep holding all the bubbles and fluid in so I ended up coughing it all over the road. RIP... hahahah, Elder Montmeny had quite the laugh.

Wednesday:

We were on exchanges today! I was with Elder McNamara. He's a greenie and quite the goober.  We had a pretty good day, but the best part of the day is when Elder McNamara ate meat free sausages. We had some in our freezer and he didn't like anything in the fridge so he saw them and was like what the??? these look disgusting! I told him that we had some at a members house and they actually tasted just fine and that nothing was wrong with them (definitely didn't happen, evil laugh) so he was like alright I'll try them out. He's cooking them on the pan and the sausages start squealing at him so he was getting a little concerened and then they start inflating like a balloon and then squealing again lol. He was like, alright, I don't know about these sausages and I just kept saying they were fine and it's just because they aren't normal sausages, so he was like, alright, I'm trusting you on this one. (little does he know, hehe) and he goes to eat them and I witness the absolute disgust on this kids face! hahahah I couldn't stop laughing!   At that point he knew I was pulling his leg, lol. But, he ended up eating then like a champ because he was starving haha.

Thursday:

Today was quite the day. We took our car into be serviced and we were like, well, let's bring the bikes so we can still work the area while the car is being fixed like good little missionaries. We drive to Toyota and drop off the car. Then we start riding our bikes back to study and we get about half way and all the sudden behind me I hear,"FEEEEETCH" and so I asked Elder Montmeny what the flip happened? His bike tire popped so we had to walk 30 min to the flat, lol. Then we were like, well gotta get a new tube so we can still get around and be effective with our time, so we called the Elder's Quorum president and he said he would take us to Kmart to get a new tube so we could ride back to the dealership. We get the new tube, put it on, and by that time we had to start heading back on our bikes. So we are biking and we are about half way there and I hear, "FEEEETCH" Oh No!!! Not again!!!  Elder Montmeny was so pissed and I was just like.... it is what it is.  We walked another 30 minutes to the Dealership and waited to get the car back. We tried so hard to get some stuff done, but it just didn't work out in our favor. 

Friday:

Today, nothing too interesting happend like the past 2 days, lol. But the highlight of the day was, I got to eat some curry. I've been wanting to eat some curry for a long time and we were calling some members a couple days ago and he said we could come over for dinner and asked if we had any suggestions. I said I would love to have curry. Good thing Brother Mahoney served in Japan so he knows how to make some mean curry. We went over tonight and right there before my eyes was mean golden curry! I was so happy, Holy crap, I devoured that curry and I even got seconds. Boooooooyaaaaaa

Saturday: this day was pretty boring, knocked doors until my legs were sore 

Sunday: someone told us to F off today, that's about it 

Not the best week of the mission, but I guess they can't all be amazing. Life is just that way.  I find out tonight if I'm getting transferred on Wednesday.  Stay tuned.
