Tickle Tickle

Oh oh ooooooh, g-day mates. Eh eh eh let's get into it.

My parents told me on the phone today that they have missed my Dad jokes, so I thought that I'd throw one out there today.

How many times do you have to tickle an octopus to make it laugh?
Ten-tickles
Of course it only has 8 of those
So the first 2 were test-tickles

Monday:
We did some golfing on our P-day today at a golf range and I found out golfing is fetching hard and I'm absolute trash. I had one good drive and it was my last hit, that's all that matters. Improvement happened. But, it was a fun little driving range and I had a good time with the missionaries. It was nice to go and do something different for a change.

Tuesday:
We did some service for this member in a different ward, we were helping some Elders out. That guys back yard just filled with spiders. I also went to mission office today to pickup the mail.  I was able to see my first grade teacher, Tracy Carr in the Mission office!  She is the new sister in charge of all the flights and visas for my mission now!  It was so fun to see her.  She was one of my favorite teachers.  She said that I still look just the same, just bigger.  I'm not so sure about that.

Wednesday:
Had a nice exchange with Elder Wolff. He's a cool Elder, a really good basketball player, quite the bucket. Hopefully he learned something on the exchange, I tried to show my best example. I was talking to him about the NBA and never realized Ben Simmons is Australian. But he hates Ben Simmons because he keeps saying he'll play for Australia for the Olympics but pulls out like a scardy cat. Fair enough

Thursday:
We had a nice drive up to Port Pirie this day. That drive makes me sleepy but it's always a pretty drive. Before driving up there, Elder Montmeny and I were grinding the area trying to find more people like Uzziah that are just fetching prepared and we found this guy Derrick!  He had some questions related to the plan of salvation. Unfortunatley, we didn't have to much time to talk, but we got a return appointment. We will see how it goes with him.

Friday:
We had a long day of service in Port Pirie today.  We had 3 different projects, Holy fetch I was tired. We did some yard clean up for the first one, then some house clean up and more yard work, and then cutting a bunch of vegetables. I cut so many potatoes, probably like 60.

Saturday:
It's quite cool how the Lord prepares people for the gospel. We knocked this street I knocked like 3 months ago and I specifically remember knocking this house. The guys names is Drew. The first time we talked to him he said he was Christian, reads his Bible and he wasn't interested. But, this time we talked with him for 30 min about our beliefs and he had very similar views and was open to us coming back. He's quite knowledgeable about the Bible but now he just needs the Book of Mormon. Booooya!

Sunday:
Had a nice time at church while being sad because Uzziah got sick so he wasn't able to come.

Have a great week everyone!  Until next week!
Love,
-Elder Bishop
