Hairy Booty Cheeks Say What?!!

Oh yo yo yo! What's good my fellow friends? What a great 2 weeks in Berri, Australia!

Since we talked last we have 2 more friends on date for baptism, Nathan and Tamika.

Nathan is getting baptized on April 1st! How exciting! He asked me to baptize him, which is awesome because I've never been able to do that on my mission. Nathan is awesome and I believe he will definitely stay active after baptism. He does all the right things. He reads the Book of Mormon, prays, comes to church, and keeps his commitments. He has some word of wisdom issues to over come but the Lord will provide him some strength to overcome it by April 1st. We brought a member with us that is currently returning back to church, to the lesson. He was a little nervous but he was able to relate to Nathan a lot and help him with his struggles and I think they will for sure be good friends. It was a lot of work to get him there, we had to drop by the members home and walk with him to the appointment because he doesn't have a car, but it still worked out great. He ended up taking us out for lunch which was really nice of him because he doesn't have any money. He basically went broke just to feed us. He is the kindest soul and really wants to be a member missionary.  He took us to the Golden Elephant, which is the best restaurant in Berri, in my opinion. We got some gyros and they were so freaking good. I totally forgot to take a picture with him. Whoops, sorry not sorry mom! 

Tamika is this little girl in this family in our area. She is the only one in the family that really wants to progress.  We think that if she gets baptized the rest of the family will follow. She is also keeping commitments just like Nathan which is awesome! I wish the best for her. She is only 10 years old but a good listener and is smart as well.  She is learning very quickly.

Okay, okay, okay, your probably wondering why I named my email what it's named... So we started teaching this guy named named Josh. Josh is your casual bed head, hairy chest, jet black hair like a gorilla type of guy. He has a minimun wage job and basically doesn't know how to take care of him self, but he's super down to earth, super chill, talks to you like he's on some weed. We went over for an appointment and he invites us in.Then, all the sudden i get the weirdest vibe ever, I was weirded out as fetch! We get to about the kitchen and he sits down. Mind you, he has no shirt on, his belly is hanging out and he just has swim suit trunks on. The waist of his trunks are loose, like really looooooooose. He gets up to go grab his Book of Mormon and I kid you not, I literally I see the hairiest booty cheeks of my life! It's the darkest black hair, it made his butt Crack look an inch wide. I am scarred for life! Just a dark abyss! At that moment the spirit had left and we told him we had to go and we would talk to him after church on Sunday. He ended up coming to church properly dressed which was great. I was really hoping I didn't have to pull a "no shirt, no shoes, no service" policy. Thankfully, I didn't have to, God was looking out for us. 

You meet a lot of weird people in Berri, but to be honest, wild people are just hilarious and I love it. Because I get to share stories like this.   

Berri is so fruitful.
